so I am about to make my first ever purchase from a stock agency. how exciting! earlier this year Getty Images approached me about representation but I told them to bugger off. very politely of course.
I’m after a desert image, vertical with no people, just a dune and the sky. would dearly love to reward another photographic artist, and I know that terms vary widely across the industry so, if someone could suggest a source that pays its contributors handsomely, I’ll be more than grateful.
the photo will be used on a poster to promote a workshop & photoshoot that I’m planning for later this year.
it’s always interesting when you can approach a job from both sides, as both an image creator, and image consumer. gives a greater appreciation I feel, of the criteria and skills applied, by the other side. something like that.
